-Can't wait for seed to sprout? We can lay sod to establish your lawn. Sod should not be laid over existing turf. To establish a healthy root system, the existing lawn must be removed or

turned under and top soil should be spread as a base layer.

-If sod is to be laid when establishing a new lawn, 2"-3" of top soil should be spread as a base layer.

-Sod should only be laid in the spring or fall.
